The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Music Graduate Assistant to join our thriving Music Department. The role will involve providing support to the Director of Music in a range of ways and working with the Drama department.
You will need excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills, with a flexible approach, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will have a good level of musicianship coupled with a working knowledge of different musical genres and the ability to support small ensembles. You will be passionate about supporting students to develop and achieve their best.
Music Department
Music is a popular and successful subject at Blackheath High School. We firmly believe all our lessons should be inclusive and the breadth of curriculum allows students to experience musical genres such as Gamelan, West African Drumming, Rap, Pop Music and a variety of Western Classical Music.
