School Nurse

Arnold House was founded in 1905 in St John’s Wood. It is an independent preparatory school located in London, NW8, for boys from 3 to 13, and a member of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). 

We are looking for an experienced and caring school nurse to join us from June or September 2024 to provide the highest-quality care for the boys. 

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, will also work well independently and relish the opportunity to support young people. You will have a nursing qualification and experience of working in a healthcare setting.

The hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday during term time. School holidays are taken as holidays with pay, although you will be required to work several days before the beginning and after the end of each term.

Benefits include pension contributions, free lunches during term time and a cycle to work scheme.

Head of Religious Studies/Humanities Teacher

Arnold House was founded in 1905 in St John’s Wood. It is an independent preparatory school located in London, NW8, for boys from 3 to 13, and a member of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). 

We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to lead our Religious Studies department and teach humanities subjects in the senior part of the school (Years 5-8). 

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching humanities at either KS2 or KS3, and will have an adaptable and flexible approach and be willing to get involved in prep-school life.

School holidays are taken as holidays with pay and other benefits include pension contributions, free lunches during term time and a cycle to work scheme.

Receptionist for the Pre-Prep

We are looking for a welcoming and well-organised school receptionist to join our busy team in the Pre-Prep. 

The successful candidate will be outgoing and friendly, a strong team player, and relish the opportunity to welcome young children, parents and visitors to Arnold House.

The hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday during term time. School holidays are taken as holidays with pay, although you will be required to work several days before the beginning and after the end of each term.
