About the job

Music & Drama Education Expo, the leading performing arts education show in Europe, is seeking music and drama educators to join its voluntary advisory board to help curate the programme for the London 2026 show.

This event is a highlight of the arts education calendar, offering highly valued CPD to teachers working in a wide range of settings. Each year, the two-day event attracts around 2,000 visitors from across the UK and over 40 countries.

In order to help deliver the most up-to-date, relevant and useful CPD programme possible, members of the advisory board provide feedback to the heads of content on the proposed programme.

Communication takes place via email over a limited period, from mid-June to late-July, and you must be available for some of that time to give feedback.

There is no travel required.

We welcome applications from practitioners in the following areas and roles:

  • Early Years
  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • SEND
  • Music Technology
  • Freelance Drama Teachers
  • Freelance Instrumental/Vocal Teachers
  • Theatre Production Teachers
  • Workshop Leaders
  • Hub Officials
  • Headteachers

Being part of the Music & Drama Education Expo advisory board gives you the opportunity to support your peers, inform their teaching and influence the learning of the next generation of music and drama students.

We strongly encourage educators of all different backgrounds, ages and identities to apply. If you have any questions, please email Event Director Amy Driscoll:  amy.driscoll@markallengroup.com
