Due to promotion of existing tutors, two existing opportunities have arisen in South East Berkshire for high calibre brass teachers to join a thriving and expanding brass department in Berkshire Maestros, one of the country’s leading music hubs. We can offer a mixture of teaching opportunities including beginner, intermediate and advanced level individual and small group tuition, whole class instrumental teaching as well as ensemble direction within one of our large area music centres. We seek either experienced teachers or graduates new to the profession and there may be the possibility of some leadership responsibility for the right candidate. We can also offer the opportunity to deliver high level coaching on our prestigious Academy programme for Gifted and Talented young musicians as well as the opportunity to coach the brass section of the nationally acclaimed Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra.
In return we can offer a competitive salary depending on skills, qualifications and experience and excellent benefits including pension and car allowance.
Berkshire Maestros is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Berkshire Maestros takes the responsibility of child protection very seriously and checks the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children. Berkshire Maestros is an equal opportunities employer.
