We are looking to appoint a full-time Deputy Head of Vocal Studies in the School of Vocal Studies and Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music.  The post will commence at the beginning of the next academic year in September 2022. 

The RNCM is a leading international conservatoire with a reputation for excellence in preparing young musicians for a life-long career in the music profession; the School of Vocal Studies and Opera has a long-established and exceptional reputation as one of Europe’s leading Vocal and Opera Departments, with a highly acclaimed tutorial staff. 

The Deputy Head of Vocal Studies will take a primary lead in matters relating to students and staff and regarding the day to day management and development of the department, working closely with the Head of School, the Deputy Head of Opera, the wider management team of the College and with our professional partners.
