The Temple Church, the Church of Inner and Middle Temple, is appointing a DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

to build on and develop its historic and outstanding musical tradition with bursaried choristers, choral scholars and professional adult SATB singers. 

The Church continues to maintain the highest musical standards in its services, concerts and broadcasts. The Church is now committed to the admission of girls as well as boys to the choir; and is steadily extending its musical outreach to schools. It will look to the new Director of Music to advise on and implement the evolution in the Church’s musical provision that will equip it for the future. 

The post allows for some external work; subject to negotiation, it will be between 70% and 100% FTE.
