About the job

We seek a talented, enthusiastic and inspiring musician who combines a passion for God, worship, and using their gifts to sustain and develop music within worship across the parish.

The successful candidate will enhance the worshipping life and outreach of the parish. They will also be an accomplished organist and choir director accustomed to delivering a high standard of choral music. We have a wide spectrum of worship needs and the person appointed will be able to support the growth of informal and contemporary music styles alongside developing the existing choir and our strong choral tradition.


The post is for 30 hrs a week
Pay rate is £14,256 per annum


In addition there are a large number of weddings and funeral in a year 

There is also 1 day of instrumental teaching (available through separate appointment and contract) with King Edward VI School. 
The pay rate is £5,250 per annum.


The combined pay and church fees give an expected pay rate of £23,506 per annum
