Director of Music

Canterbury Cathedral seeks an outstanding choral director and creative and entrepreneurial musical leader to oversee all aspects of the musical life of the Mother Church of the Anglican Communion.

This internationally-significant role will involve the direction of the Choir, the training of the Choristers, the management of the Cathedral's musicians, and much strategic leadership, as we seek to develop substantially the scope of our music programme and our engagement with our local community and the wider artistic world.

The post is open to choral directors of all musical backgrounds (it is not a requirement also to be an organist).
