About the job

Required for September 2020

Full-time or part-time

This vacancy will suit an enthusiastic, dynamic, well qualified person, with a passion for teaching curriculum music lessons, leading choirs and ensembles, organising a busy programme of musical events and overseeing a committed team of peripatetic teachers.

St. Helen’s College is a thriving, forward-thinking yet traditional IAPS Prep School with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation. Our last inspection report rated the school as excellent or outstanding in every category.

The successful applicant will be an exemplary classroom practitioner and musician, with excellent ICT, interpersonal and team-working skills and a strong interest in pastoral care. The ability to teach other subjects would be an advantage but is not essential.

The school is committed to safeguarding pupils and an Enhanced DBS check will take place prior to appointment.

St. Helen’s College offers its own generous salary scale and pension.
