Freelance senior WordPress developer for children’s website

Naxos, the world’s leading classical music group, has a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled freelance WordPress developer to work on a website for children. Meticulous and responsive, the ideal applicant will have proven ability to work creatively within the WordPress platform, proficient not only with its basic coding and infrastructure (including Themes, Plugins, Media Library etc.) and coding in PHP to modify WP themes (add features, adjust styles etc.), but able to come up with tailored solutions for enabling features as required within a custom website powered by WP, coding in PHP to create complex custom themes from scratch, including audio, video and interactive features. This should include responsive design, e.g. using CSS media queries, as well as familiarity with WCAG and coding to meet requirements. Knowledge of and enthusiasm for classical music will be greatly valued, as will a feel for graphic design and the ability to edit audio, video and images.
