About the job

The Head of Jazz will work closely with the Director of Music to promote and develop Jazz provision across all age groups at UCS Senior School. This is an academic as well as a co-curricular post. The Head of Jazz will teach a 0.6 curriculum Music timetable alongside their broader responsibilities, as well as individual Jazz Techniques lessons as a self-employed Visiting Music Teacher (VMT).

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly accomplished jazz musician with a proven track record in performance and extensive knowledge of the repertoire and a passion for the genre.
