12 Month FTC Full Time: 35 hours per week (Tuesday till Saturday during term time and Monday till Friday outside of term time)

Junior Guildhall is the specialist pre conservatoire department of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with over 450 students aged between 4 and 18 enrolled on the Music course, Drama course and String Training Programme on Saturdays.

We seek to appoint an outstanding musician and administrator with extensive experience in the education sector to assist the Head of Junior Guildhall and ensure that Junior Guildhall continues to provide specialist education at the highest level.

The successful candidate will be dynamic and committed to developing talented young students to reach their full potential.  They will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with parents, staff and students and to create a culture which fosters collaboration, innovation, personal motivation and a lateral approach to problem solving.

He/She will manage a varied portfolio of tasks and have a proven track record as a musician and educator, have sound artistic judgement and a passion for encouraging artistic excellence in a creative work environment.
