Applications are invited for a well-qualified and inspirational piano teacher (self-employed) to start in January 2022 at Ibstock Place School, an independent co-educational school in south-west London.
There are two full days’ work with the opportunity for more teaching depending on demand. The position involves leading two ensembles: a jazz band which plays traditional standards, and the “Jazz Collective”, a sextet which develops improvisation and soloing.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of excellence in preparing pupils for ABRSM, Trinity and Rock School examinations and will have experience in leading and coaching jazz ensembles. The hourly rate is £49.
