Lay Clerk (alto/tenor) – Part-time, ongoing

  • Approximately 10 hours a week (annualised)
  • Free singing tuition

 

Lay Clerks sing at Evensong on five or six days per week, and at Eucharist on Sunday mornings.  They are also required to sing at major Christian festivals, including Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost.  A minimum monthly attendance rate of 85% is required, and additional absence for external professional musical engagements can be requested, with appropriate notice, and permitted at the discretion of the Director of Music.
