This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the life of a vibrant music department.

The Music Assistant will assist with the day-to-day running of the music department, dealing with events, both within the School and at venues such as the Barbican, St John’s, Smith Square and Westminster Abbey.

The Music Assistant will additionally be required to attend at least seven large-scale concerts/events, involving evening hours, most likely in the capacity of front of house or stage management.

Excellent organisational, communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.

We welcome applications from musicians who would like to develop their playing/coaching experience with the opportunity to work with school ensembles.

The Music Assistant is employed on a term-time basis and the post is a ten month fixed term role commencing in September 2022.

The salary for this role is £15,650 (actual).

The hours of work are 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.
