We are seeking an inspirational, creative and enthusiastic musician to join the Music Department team at Bedford School for September 2022 or January 2023.  This full-time role would be suitable for musicians who would like to combine organ playing/accompanying, academic music teaching and wider involvement in school life. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will teach around 0.45 of a full academic timetable.

This role would be suitable for an experienced teacher, ECT or unqualified teacher. We are experienced in supporting unqualified teachers to take their first role within the profession, with a reduced timetable of teaching, high levels of support and opportunities for formal initial teacher training.

Full-time teachers at Bedford are also expected to play a full part in the extensive co-curricular programme and be a Tutor attached to a boarding or day house.
