As principal accompanist of the Cathedral Choir, you will play a varied and integral role, supporting the Director of Music in developing and maintaining a vision and house-style for performances of music in the Cathedral.
With responsibility for the care, maintenance, and development of the five Cathedral organs, you will act as a champion for the instruments and their profiles, planning and co-ordinating the annual Celebrity Organ Recital Series and having oversight of the Sunday Organ Recitals.
You will assist the Director of Music with the training and auditioning of the Choristers and Probationers and will conduct the Cathedral Choir on a weekly basis and when required.
You will line manage the Sub-Organist and Organ Scholar and support the work of the Artistic Director of Choral Partnerships and help develop the work of the Organ Partnerships Programme.
