Norwich High School for Girls seeks an enthusiastic, positive and hardworking Teacher of Music to join their lively Music Department on a part-time basis.
You will teach Year 6 to Year 11 music, using a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the educational needs of students, enabling them to fulfil their full musical potential. In addition to your teaching duties, you will also play a leading role in the busy co-curricular life of the department and will seek to promote the subject both inside and outside of the classroom. The School is committed to developing the quality and range of music opportunities for students, and this role is an opportunity to be at the heart of these plans.
You will be an inspiring and innovative Teacher who can demonstrate flair in the classroom and an ability to inspire musicians of all ages, across a multitude of musical disciplines. The ability to teach Music to A-level, as well as Music GCSE, would also be advantageous, but is not essential.
This is a part-time 0.5 FTE role, working three days per week.
The Music department sets high expectations for all students and provides differentiation and challenge to enable all to reach their potential, encouraging intellectual interest, creativity and curiosity.
