An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Theatre professional to join our Team as Theatre Manager.
The post-holder will manage the day to day operation of The Stahl Theatre, the building and its staff, ensuring all productions, events and external uses of The Stahl Theatre meet legislative requirements set by law, and the School. The role will also support the teaching of technical theatre at GCSE and A Level.
This is a fixed-term position, to act as cover for colleagues who are taking maternity leave between October 2022 and October 2023.
Role requirements
The successful candidate will have a nationally recognised qualification in at least one backstage area of theatre, a working knowledge of the principles and practices of Health and Safety and associated regulations and experience of working with younger people.
Proven experience of professional theatre is desirable, but not essential.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, the standard hours of work for this role are 10.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required to support performance schedules within the Theatre, therefore evening and weekend work is to be expect. Time off in lieu is available.
Working: 52 working weeks per annum
Anticipated Start date: 19 September 2022
Fixed Term Period: Until 30 September 2023
