About the job

IMPACT Scotland seeks to appoint additional Trustees to expand the breadth of skills, experience and diversity of its Board, as it realises its ambition to increase access to the arts in Scotland through the provision of a world-class centre for music and performance in the heart of Edinburgh.

The Dunard Centre will be the first purpose-designed venue of its kind built in Edinburgh for over a century and one of the boldest ventures in the city’s recent past. The mid-sized venue will provide a world-class experience and act as a hub for all kinds of performance – from orchestral to jazz and folk while incorporating spoken word and innovative types of performance.

The charity wishes to expand the skills, experience and diversity of its Board of Trustees to develop and deliver the Dunard Centre as a central part of Scotland’s cultural life.

This is an exciting opportunity to make an outstanding contribution to music and performance in Scotland through this once-in-a-generation project.

Please send your CV and covering letter outlining what you would bring to the Board to: gilly.herbert@impactscotland.org.uk

If you would like to arrange an informal, confidential conversation about the role of our Trustees and/or the project, please contact the same email address.
