Junior Academy offers outstanding tuition to young, talented musicians aged 8-18 on Saturdays during term time at one of the UK’s foremost music conservatoires.

We are seeking an exceptional teacher, performer and communicator with the ability to inspire talented young musicians in a thriving musical environment to join our teaching staff from September 2019. The post is hourly-paid, and will include individual tuition of students at Junior Academy and Primary Academy as well as the possibility of some chamber music coaching.

Many current students at Junior Academy are members of the National Youth Orchestra, National Youth Choir, London Schools Symphony and National Children’s Orchestra, with regular success in competitions at local and national level.  Graduates of Junior Academy frequently win places to study music at senior conservatoires or university, and many alumni now pursue successful careers as musicians.  For further details on our music provision, please visit www.ram.ac.uk/juniors.
