Visiting Music Teacher- Flute

About the job

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic flute teacher at Bedford School. This is a part-time role, offering around 1 full day’s work per week and currently with 7 pupils (with room for expansion), a junior flute ensemble + 2 weekly starter classes for small groups in Years 5 & 6. There is a thriving woodwind, brass, and percussion department with over 130 pupils and fourteen teachers in the team. The successful candidate will work across the whole age range of the school (Y3-13).

The school has a thriving music department, with over 330 pupils taking weekly instrumental/singing lessons with over 30 visiting teachers in the team.
