Solihull School is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of Piano to join our thriving Music Department as a self-employed Visiting Music Teacher from September 2020. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach pupils from age 5-18 and will have a particular specialism in teaching children aged 5-8, but will also have a proven track record of motivating and engaging pupils from beginner to grade 8 level. 

Our current needs are for one to two days of teaching per week, though this could potentially increase. There may well be an opportunity for some small ensemble coaching work.

As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a short demonstration lesson and perform a solo piece on their instrument.
