New Hall School requires a Visiting Music Teacher: Woodwind (to include clarinet and saxophone), and Cello
We seek a skilful and experienced musician and teacher who has the willingness and enthusiasm to be part of a busy and forward-thinking Music Department. The successful applicant will be passionate about music-making and have the ability to inspire young musicians.
Visiting Music Teachers at New Hall School are responsible for their own timetable, sourcing of resources and repertoire. They will be supported in their work by the Director of Music and Performing Arts Administrator.
Visiting Music Teachers set their own hourly rates and have direct contact with parents. A small charge is payable to the School in exchange for the support of the School in their work, including the publishing of timetables, room use, and distribution of invoices. All Visiting Music Teachers are expected to provide feedback to pupils and parents including contributing to reporting cycles. Opportunities to support or lead an ensemble or musical activity may be available which is remunerated separately at an hourly rate.
