Trumpet Teacher
Required from: ASAP
Trumpet Teacher – 6 pupils and to take a Brass Ensemble with the potential to expand.
Halliford School is seeking to appoint an experienced, committed and inspirational trumpet teacher to support and promote music at the School through the delivery of high-quality lessons to its pupils.
The successful candidate will work within our well-resourced, flourishing department and will be experienced in teaching and motivating boys from 11 - 18 and girls from 16-18 with ability ranging from beginner to Diploma level.
They will assist pupils in preparations for performances, examinations and auditions as appropriate. They will also be willing to give up time to support the Music Department through assistance in concerts, open days or other public events from time to time.
Strings Teacher
Required from: ASAP
Teacher of Strings/Teachers of Violin and Cello – Half a day per week with the intention to grow the role.
We are looking to appoint a peripatetic music teacher/teachers to teach violin and cello to individual students of all abilities. Candidates will need to demonstrate expertise within their field with proven ability as a performer and a teacher. They will be expected to play an active role in concerts and events throughout the year relevant to their specialism and will work as a self-employed contractor.
