Inspiring and enthusiastic individuals are required to join our highly successful and thriving Music department as Visiting Music Teachers. Successful candidates will be required to teach a range of pupils; aged 11-18 years.

We have opportunities available in the following disciplines:

  • Double Bass
  • Violin and Viola
  • Guitar (primarily rock guitar, but ability also to teach classical guitar would be an advantage)
  • Cello
  • Singing

The anticipated initial schedule for each discipline is as follows:

  • 3 hours per week for Double Bass; 
  • 5 hours per week for Violin and Viola;
  • 4 hours per week for Guitar;
  • 3 hours per week for Cello;
  • 3 hours per week for Singing.

The rate of pay is currently £18.32 per 30 minute lesson, inclusive of holiday pay.

Our Music Department, which comprises 9 full-time and 33 visiting teachers, has an outstanding reputation and is very well resourced.
