Music Department is looking to recruit:

  • Head of Strings and / or Violin Teacher (2 days a week) 
  •  Violin Teacher (1 day a week) 
  • Horn (Brass) Teacher (1 day a week) 
  • Singing Teacher (1 day a week)

Tonbridge School has a large Music Department with over 60 Music Scholars, 6 full-time staff and 40 visiting music teachers. The School has a long-standing tradition of musical excellence, both choral and instrumental. Roughly half of the boys in the school learn at least one musical instrument, and there are seventy music award holders. Over 80 boys have Grade VII or above and up to 70 boys take exams in a wide variety of instruments each year. We are seeking to appoint teachers for the above posts from September 2019. Good remuneration with travelling expenses (if appropriate).
